Balenciaga 3XL Sneaker and Sock Shoe

Balenciaga has introduced its latest footwear offerings from its Summer 2023 runway collection, known as "The Mud Show." The collection features the 3XL Sneaker and the 3XL Sock Shoe, both of which showcase the brand's signature exaggerated and unconventional design aesthetic.

The 3XL Sneaker is a bold take on the traditional running shoe, featuring an enlarged sole and an ultra-wide shape. The shoe is constructed with technical mesh in various scales, giving it a unique texture. Thick, elasticized laces add to the shoe's distinctive look, while its edges and surfaces appear to contract and expand in organic shapes. The 3XL Sneaker is available in multiple colorways, including black/white, red/white/blue, yellow, grey, and multitone.

Balenciaga has also released the 3XL Sock Shoe, which combines the stretch knit upper of the Speed line with the massive rubber sole of the flagship 3XL. This hybrid silhouette features a snug, ankle-hugging top layer and an oversized sole that envelops the wearer's foot from all angles. The 3XL Sock Shoe is crafted in black knit with white tread and features a miniature logo etched onto the front upper component.

Both the 3XL Sneaker and the 3XL Sock Shoe can now be purchased on Balenciaga's webstore. The 3XL Sneaker is priced at $1,090 USD, while the 3XL Sock Shoe is priced at $1,080 USD.
