BEAMS is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its sub-brand, BEAMS BOY, with a special watch collaboration involving NEEDLES and Timex. The watch combines the unique aesthetics of each brand.
The design is based on Timex's Classic Digital watch, but is given a distinct NEEDLES touch with its signature purple color. The watch is made from a semi-transparent material, making it appear different when light hits it.
The watch features NEEDLES' iconic butterfly motif on its digital display, which also incorporates Timex's Indiglo® technology. The caseback is engraved with "NEEDLES for BEAMS BOY" to showcase the collaboration. The packaging of the watch also includes the butterfly motif in NEEDLES' color.
The collaborative watch is available for pre-order through BEAMS, priced at ¥17,600 JPY (approximately $119 USD). It is expected to be shipped in October.
