Livestock x G-Shock DW-6900 Watch

G-Shock is making the most of the remaining months of 2023 by collaborating with various brands. After partnering with Coca-Cola and In4mation, the iconic watch company has now joined forces with Canadian streetwear retailer Livestock to create a special edition of the iconic DW-6900 model to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary.

The design of the timepiece draws inspiration from Tokyo's famous "Bayshore Route," a highway that encircles the city. In the 1990s, this highway gained notoriety as an illegal racing circuit for modified street cars during the night. The watch's packaging is in an orange-red hue, matching the aesthetics of the highway, and features a car speedometer-inspired graphic.

The design of the watch pays homage to this legendary highway, incorporating its emblem on the strap, a race-inspired face cluster, Japanese dial instructions, and a meticulously laser-etched tachometer. It perfectly captures the spirit of Tokyo's underground racing scene, showcasing a fusion of style and history.

The Livestock edition of the DW-6900 will be released on September 8, 2023, and will be available for purchase exclusively in-store and online through Livestock for $200 CAD.
