WTAPS has linked up with fellow Japanese brand PPACO for a footwear collaboration. The collaboration consists of two slides that combine the signature aesthetics and design language of both brands. Since its establishment, PPACO has aimed to "overturn common sense" with its slides. One distinctive feature of PPACO slides is that they can be placed upside down, preventing the insides from getting dirty when left outdoors. This is achieved through a straight opening design that ensures a stable form when the slide is flipped. In addition to the unique design, PPACO places great importance on comfort for the feet and soles. The slides are crafted using High-PerFORM®, a soft yet resilient material derived from latex for a lightweight build with the right amount of elasticity.
