Since Vanessa Bryant and Kobe Bryant 's estate reached an agreement with Nike in 2022 to revive the Nike Kobe line, special "Mambacita" colorways have been released each year to pay homage to the late Gigi Bryant. The Kobe 6 Protro and Kobe 4 Protro have already featured the "Mambacita" theme, offering black and white colorways with references to Gigi. Now, it has been revealed that the Kobe 8 Protro will be the next silhouette to carry the " Mambacita " motif. The initial preview of the pair from Master Chef Ian features black and white as the main colors, with golden accents on the Swooshes.
