New Balance and atmos have unveiled a limited edition MT580 "Land(E)scape" that pays homage to the beloved 90s trail running shoe that gained popularity in Japan. The "Land(E)scape" variant features a vintage-inspired design with a warm-hued all-leather upper, featuring a mix of matte beige leather, brown suede, and ostrich-printed leather. The tongue is adorned with a green leather patch and a rubber "580" label, while the New Balance logo appears in black leather on the quarter. The shoe's sectioned midsoles provide a more technical feel, complemented by black outsoles embossed with a leather-like texture. A special detail hidden in the insoles narrates the history of the MT580 and pays tribute to the original M585 from 1996. Limited to just 580 pairs, the atmos x New Balance MT580 "Land(E)scape" sneaker will be available through a pre-sale lottery via atmos' webstore starting November 15.
