Kitimaat Village, British Columbia First Nations hip-hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids is gearing up to release their highly anticipated album Red Future. With a strong focus on Indigenous futurism, the duo aims to inspire and empower future generations to achieve their dreams, whether it be through music, art, or any other creative endeavor.


The duo’s Yung Trybez explains the underlying message of Red Future, stating, "Red Future is about wanting to see our future generations thriving." By sharing their own artistic journey, Snotty Nose Rez Kids hopes to open doors for aspiring youth and encourage them to envision and pursue their own unique paths in life.


"We were inspired by Indigenous futurism and we see us, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, as a small part in opening doors and inspiring future youth to realize the vision for their own lives, whether it's music, art or anything else."


To give fans a glimpse into their vision, the duo has released the title track “Red Future,” featuring the talented Australian Indigenous electronic duo, Electric Fields. The Jamie Kuse-produced song sets the stage with its futuristic soundscape, perfectly complementing the Rez Kids' powerful lyrics and accompanying animated video directed by Sterling Larose.
