Casio Casiotron Watch

Casio is celebrating its 50th anniversary by bringing back the Casiotron watch model, which was first unveiled in 1974 as the world's first digital wristwatch with an automatic calendar function.

The revived Casiotron is limited to 4,000 pieces worldwide and incorporates the brand's latest cutting-edge technology, including added radio wave reception, Tough Solar charging system, and Smartphone Link. The new Casiotron pays tribute to the brand's inaugural timepiece while maintaining a faithful appearance to its 1974 inspiration. Notably, the new model features a dark blue hue and a total of four buttons on its watch case, distinguishing it from the original. The timepiece also arrives in special packaging that's composed of plastic-free and eco-friendly paper, aligning with Casio's sustainable practices.

Priced at £449 GBP (around $564 USD), the brand-new Casiotron is now available to shop via Casio's UK website.
