ASICS  is collaborating with London-based eco-friendly label Story mfg. to debut a new version of the GEL-VENTURE 6 sneaker. The Story mfg. x ASICS GEL-VENTURE 6 comes in two earthy colors of "Reddish Brown" and "Vanilla Violet Quartz". Both styles have breathable mesh uppers overlaid with gingham check panels. A standout feature of the sneaker is the double-lacing system, inspired by a memory of co-founder Saeed Al-Rubeyi . As a teenager in Baghdad, he admired how local skaters styled their laces. To honor that, each pair of sneakers comes with two sets of laces to customize their look. The design is completed with tonal midsoles, a Gel-cushioned outsole, and ASICS' signature stripes. The branding is split, with the Story mfg. logo on the right tongue and the ASICS logo on the left. The Story mfg. x ASICS GEL-VENTURE 6 sneakers are set to release tomorrow via Story mfg. , ASICS , HBX , and select retailers for $150 USD.

Founded by husband-and-wife duo  Saeed and Katy Al-Rubeyi in 2013, the label has recently unveiled the third edition of its R.T.S (formerly known as "Roots") collection, featuring an array of sustainable clothing and accessories. The collection showcases a variety of knitted sweaters, button-up shirts with multi-toned designs, and simple crossbody totes. Emphasizing their commitment to eco-friendly practices, Story mfg. states that these garments are meticulously crafted using natural dyes derived from leaves, fruit, roots, bark, and micro-organisms, resulting in a range of purely organic hues without any artificial additives.
